For cotton undies, you can toss them in the machine on cold (we recommend using a fabric bag) and lay them flat to dry. For bras, hand wash them in your sink with a specially-formulated silk or delicates wash. Just soak in cool soapy water for a few minutes, give areas that may have dirt a gentle scrub with your hands. Lay flat to dry on a second, dry towel. Never put your lingerie in the dryer (heat can ruin elastics and any elasticity in the fabric and the dryer itself can harm the lingerie). Never use harsh bleaches or detergents.
Our order queue depends on the time of the year. Current queue can be found in the header bar but averages in 2-4 weeks. After that period your order will be dispatched. Please check out the Shipping page for more information on how long it will take to reach you.

All Queen of Suburbia lingerie is proudly made in Hamilton, Canada, in our studio. Since everything is made in-house, you can feel good about supporting a small, ethical, and independently-owned business.

Fret not, we can make almost any size—just contact hello[@]queenofsuburbia.com with your bust, underbust, and full hip measurements. How to take those measurements can be found here .
We don't charge for custom sizing! Most of our bras are custom-made just for you and that cost is already included in the price. If you'd like small adjustments made (perhaps more coverage, a higher rise, or a cheekier cut) simply contact us .
We ship worldwide. If your country can be found on a map, we ship there. We also offer a flat-rate shipping fee, so you can stock up!
Our packaging from the outside is very discreet. It comes in a plain bubble mailer or box with your address and our return address on it. There is no mention of "lingerie" anywhere, so you can ship it to your work address without fear if you're in Canada. There is, however, a detailed description of the contents of your parcel on the customs form as required by law when we ship internationally. The outer packaging itself is discreet, however.
We'll do our best! If your item is in stock and ready to ship, we can usually get it into the mail for you the same day. But if your item is made-to-order (and most of our items are), we may not be able to to rush the cutting and sewing. This depends on the time of year, what's going on in terms of photo shoots and production, how many items are ahead of yours in the order queue, etc. If you're in a hurry, the best thing you can do is to contact us immediately (and before you place your order!) with your needs. We can often meet your deadlines, though a rush production fee may apply.
If you're really frantic and need something like today , we have gift certificates! We offer PDF printable gift certificates in case of an urgent need for lingerie (and who doesn't have those?) It'll be sent to you right away.
We can do that! Our items usually ship via Canada Post, regular mail. If you would like to upgrade to a faster shipping time, please contact us .
Our shopping cart system is integrated with Shopify, a company that is exceptionally secure. We also accept PayPal. Your personal information is kept privately and securely, and we never give out information about customers to anyone.
Not really! Our prices accurately reflect the cost of production, quality materials, and other expenses. Our prices are carefully calculated, without artificial inflation, but we recognize that our prices are often higher than what you'll see at a big-name retailer or department store. There are a number of reasons for this but put short and sweet, these garments are of quality materials and are made by skilled crafts women in Canada. We cut no corners and we are paid for our labor and skill. We practice sustainability and ethical practices which are slower and cost quite a bit more than manufacturing overseas in mass numbers.
